Honoring loyalty, leadership, and legacy
Named in honor of the year of the incorporation of our predecessor institution, New Bedford Textile School, the 1895 Society recognizes UMassD's most generous and loyal donors.
We honor four foundational pillars of philanthropy within the 1895 Society: Loyalty Circle, Chancellor’s Leadership Circle, Lifetime Giving Circle, Campanile Legacy Circle.
Loyalty Circle
The Loyalty Circle celebrates steadfast donors who have given an annual gift at any level in the most recent two or more consecutive years. The Cornerstone Club is in further recognition of those Loyalty Circle sustaining members who make their gifts automatic and recurring via credit card, or through payroll deduction for UMassD employees. Additional benefits for Cornerstone Club members include early registration to marquee events and invitations to events on campus not typically open to the general public.

Chancellor's Leadership Circle
The Chancellor's Leadership Circle welcomes individuals who demonstrate a commitment to UMass Dartmouth through annual support of $1,000 or more.
Benefits:
- Invitation to an annual signature event with the Chancellor
- Two complimentary webinars on current news topics from UMassD faculty
- Recognition at special events
- Selection of campus photographs for download for use as backgrounds on electronic devices
- Giving concierge hotline to connect directly to a staff member who can assist with University inquiries.
Lifetime Giving Circle
Individuals whose cumulative donations reach $100,000 or more are honored in the Lifetime Giving Circle.
Benefits:
- Invitation to an annual signature event with the Chancellor
- Invitation to an annual exclusive interactive, behind-the-scenes experience to gain a deeper understanding of what makes UMass Dartmouth unique
- Two complimentary webinars on current news topics from UMassD faculty
- Estate planning session with a Planned Giving Officer
- Complimentary guest parking pass and reserved seating at special on-campus events
- A copy of the annual Endowment Report from the University of Massachusetts president
- Recognition at special events
- Selection of campus photographs for download for use as backgrounds on electronic devices
- Giving concierge hotline to connect directly to a staff member who can assist with University inquiries
- With an annual donation, members will have access to recorded Corsair Chats and Chancellor's Town Halls
Campanile Legacy Circle
Donors whose gifts will benefit UMass Dartmouth in the future, through estate gifts, beneficiary designations, and gifts that pay income to the donor join the Campanile Legacy Circle.
