Honoring loyalty, leadership, and legacy at UMass Law

Donors to UMass Law are acknowledged in the 1981 Society, named for the year our predecessor institution, Southern New England School of Law, was created. Your support secures UMass Law’s place as a premier institution of learning and strengthens its ability to provide an excellent, affordable, and accessible legal education. Your generosity ensures that students who come to UMass Law in pursuit of their academic goals are able to achieve them.

We honor three foundational pillars of philanthropy within the 1981 Society: Loyalty Circle, Dean’s Leadership Circle, and Legacy Circle. The benefits of each circle are designed to give you exclusive access
to the people, events, and programs that define UMass Law.
